Often described as the “most beautiful corner of England” this full day tour offers a wonderful introduction to the magnificent scenery of the English Lake District. Ten lakes, three mountain passes, an extended cruise from mountains to moorland on Ullswater - “Queen of the English Lakes”, a beautiful waterfall, Castlerigg Stone Circle, the ancient township of Keswick for lunch and a stop over in the delightful village of Grasmere make this the most comprehensive, popular and satisfying tour in the Lake District. Visiting central, north, north-west and northeast parts of Cumbria this is the ideal way to appreciate why this area has inspired poets and artists alike and for generations has drawn visitors from all over the world. Throughout the tour there are frequent stops for photographs and short walks..
